Stephen Timms has been a professional archaeologist for over 25 years and worked as a senior heritage consultant since 2004. He founded Quercus Archaeology in 2021 to provide a different kind of heritage service for his clients. He is a full member of the Chartered Institute for Archaeologists with extensive experience of planning archaeology and listed buildings. Having worked on projects across the Yorkshire, Northumberland, Cleveland, Norfolk and Lincolnshire he now heads up the main office in Staithes.
